So I was thinking. Have you ever noticed how the Green Arrow/Black Canary relationship is very similar to a real life high-powered couple? I mean you have an intense liberal with some past womanizing issues, a man who used to be a member of the elite group of powerful people. However, he has lost some of that responsibility and now he pursues humanitarian goals on a smaller level. Then you have his significant other, a woman who climbed the ladder with him. Yes, she had a keen intellect, powers and leadership abilities, but for years she was considered a second stringer. In recent years, though, she has come into her own and now leads the same organization that he was once a part of. Does this sound like anyone to you? That’s right…
